App Bloat Clear: Terms of Service

By installing or using App Bloat Clear, you agree to these terms. App Bloat Clear is run by tinysprout.in ("we", "us").
1. What the service does
App Bloat Clear scans your theme for code left behind by uninstalled apps. It explains what that code is and gives you ways to remove it.
- The service is read-only analysis. It uses read-only permissions.
- App Bloat Clear never edits your live theme.
- You apply every change yourself. You can follow our step-by-step guide or upload a cleaned theme ZIP.
- Results are our best assessment. We label our confidence, but we can't be certain about every file.
2. Duplicate your theme first
Before you change anything, duplicate your theme in Shopify (Themes → ⋯ → Duplicate). Make your changes on the duplicate. Preview it. Publish it only when you are happy.
This is required practice. Keep your previous theme for at least 14 days so you can roll back by re-publishing it.
3. Price and licence
- Installing and scanning is free.
- Unlocking the fixes costs $39, paid once, through Shopify billing.
- That payment gives you a lifetime licence for that one store. It does not cover other stores.
- The licence is personal to the store. You may not resell or transfer it.
- The licence lasts as long as we offer the service. If we shut it down, we will give notice in the app.
4. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. In short: 14 days, if a cleanup doesn't work.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scan stores you don't own or have permission to manage
- try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service
- copy our results or signature data to build a competing product
- use the service to break the law or Shopify's terms
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your store, your theme and your backups. Check your preview before you publish. Don't edit the theme between downloading a ZIP and publishing it.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. These include lost sales, lost profit, downtime or lost data. This applies even if you followed our guidance.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the licence on that store. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
8. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Uninstalling does not by itself entitle you to a refund. See the Refund Policy. Data deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version at https://bloatclear.tinysprout.in with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the change.
